Beda

Blue Brindle Female with white markings from Orlando Florida

Bringing a new baby home can be especially stressful and when my daughter brought home her newborn son, Aiden, it was no exception. I think it was especially difficult for Emily’s pit-bull, Beda, who had new smells to deal with, a lot of new competition for attention and who was suddenly banned from the bed. I was staying with my daughter during that first week and as she was drifting to sleep with Aiden by her side, Beda jumped up on the end of the bed. Emily nodded to let her stay so I did. As I was sitting there I noticed Beda scooting closer and closer up toward where I was sitting by Aiden. She finally stopped right next to him and promptly fell asleep. I grabbed the camera and took these photos. I think it shows how sweet these dogs can be. She just wanted to be close. It’s so peaceful.
