Tanker

Brown and white male, 69 lbs, 1 year old from Arlington, WA

Tanker is my first rescue pit, I got him when he was only 4 months old. I knew nothing about this breed and launched myself into research about this dog. I have always loved dogs but never had one so willing to please and so totally dedicated to me. This is the dog I always wanted to have. He is my excercise partner and the retriever of all balls. He is responsible for my good blood sugars and my weight loss, during a time when I was off work due to an injury and going out of my mind with boredom. He is the reason I participate in local BSL protests and attend counsil meetings. I could not see myself with out him. I have owned other types of dogs over the years and never have I enjoyed a dog this much. I love him so much that I rescued another pit out of Oregon, her name is Star and she is 4 months old. Now our family is complete! I believe you get what you put into them. If you treat them with love and respect and put the time into training you get a wonderful animal. This spring we will be starting agility training and from there who knows? Pit bulls are the funnest, most loving, loyal, smartest and dedicated dogs. They arn't for everyone but they have improved the quality of my life in ways I can not describe. My Tanker is the love of my life!
