There is a saying that "things happen for a reason." It's definitely true! My mommy keeps telling me that the best thing that has happened in her life was finding me. She often says that I have changed her life so much that she cannot thank me enough. Wow! I must have been doing something really good then. :)

When I entered my mommy's life 9 years ago, she didn't know much about pit bulls. She was a crazy dog person though. Right after she adopted me, we went through an obedience training course together and earned a "diploma." I've overheard that our instructors were telling my mommy that they have never seen such a devoted dog owner! Wow! She must have been doing something really good then. :)

She started learning a lot about pit bulls and unfortunate and unfair treatments that pit bulls around the world have been undergoing. She couldn't just sit back and let things happen to those unfairly treated pit bulls. So, my mommy started getting involved in dog rescue activities. She has been volunteering at local shelters for 8 years by now. She spends many many hours at the shelter to socialize, train, and just give basic needs for the homeless doggies. She has been very dedicated to learning everything about pit bulls and also educating other people about the pit bulls' wonderful nature. She really wants to keep fighting for my fellow pit bulls until people's misconceptions about us disappear and those scum of the earth who use pit bulls for dog fighting are punished for what they have been doing. She wants to be a crusader for pit bulls!!! Moreover, she is becoming a dog professional and is determined to help dogs and their owners to have a happier and healthier life together. I am sure she will be able to start helping many pit bulls and their owners!

Me??? Oh, life has been so good. I get to eat my mommy's homemade meals every single day! She also bakes homemade doggie biscuits which I eat every day after the meal :) I get two long walks every day. I love EVERYONE and wants to say Hi to everyone I meet. They often pet my head and say "what a good girl!" We sometimes go hiking. In summer, we go camping and river swimming! Now that I don't have to worry about anything any more, all I do all day long is to take naps under the sun while listening to nice and peaceful classical music. See, I told you that life is good for me!
