My husband and I went into PetSmart to buy cat food and we just "happened" to look at the Trenton Animal Shelter Adopt-a-Dogs. Well, when I saw Charlie, I just had to go over to her, and when I did, she just put her little paws up on my shoulders. I held her and felt her warm belly against mine and that was "it" for me. I kept going back to see her inbetween visits down the aisles, and she watched me walk out the door when we left. When we got to the car, my husband said, "Do you want her"? I practically ran back into the store and filled out the paperwork; and that night She Was Ours!!!!!!!!!!!!She's been our girl since April of 2002. She's sweet, devoted, and doesn't take up too much room in bed! We consider ourselves lucky every day we get to love her.
