Sonya
Pit Shepherd mix - brindle color from Norwood, PA
Sonya was at our SPCA. She was found on the street, and had a litter of puppies while at the SPCA. I walked through the entire length of cages, and she was the dog that picked me. She got so excited when I approached her cage, and kissed my hand and face all over. I knew we were destined to be together. She loves everyone, including my parents' and sister's dogs, and thinks she is a human (sleeps on the couch, the bed, 'talks' whenever she needs food, water, to go out). She lets my 8 year old son maul and smother her to death without a peep. Everyone says she is the sweetest dog they've ever met. She proves the bad rap is wrong every day.
