My husband and I have shared our lives with Golden Retrievers and cat's for the past 11 1/2 yrs. Goldens have always been our first love ...until Samuel came into our live's as a 4-5 month old pup. A friend who does Rescue found Samuel in a remote area and took him home to foster and adopt out. My friend became VERY overwhelmed with some dog's from a puppy mill, so I offered to foster the PB pup until we could find a Forever Home. Unbeknownst to me....that was the beginning of my entire life change! In searching incoming applications for his adoption...I came to the realization that none of these potential homes satisifed my high standards for a responsible Pit Bull Terrier home. So we knew that the best home for Samuel was with us. That was 3 1/2 years ago and I have became a true defender of the PBT breed, as well as a spokesperson for the breed. My life has been completely changed because of the dog that I believe has been sent to me to show me my true purpose in life..as a champion for the often brutalized breed. I will be forever grateful to my friend for finding the other half of my soul in that remote area that day.
